It was barely five days after the death of his Uncle, the nation still in mourning, Tributes making the rounds and the Condolence register still widely opened when Scion of the Ibru family, Olorogun Oska was spotted partying all night long at a social gathering.
His Uncle and founder of flagship daily publication, The Guardian- Alex Ibru passed on in the afternoon of Sunday, November 20 2011.
On Friday November Oskar Ibru was at Prime Chinese Restaurant, Aboyade Cole, Victoria Island Lagos.
He was a guest at the reception in honor of newly appointed Director of Department of Petroleum (DPR) resources, Osten Olorunshola.
The affair was organised by the owner of the
Venue, Princewill Utchay.
The happenstance which kicked off according to schedule at 9p.m, was an all night affair.
Olorogun Oskar arrived the place some minutes before 11pm. He sauntered into the hall in the company of Ambassador Greg Mbadiwe, late Raymon Njoku's son, Adeniran Ogunsanya and 'some other friends and hangers on'
Informants revealed that his entrance added clolour to the occassion and upped the ante of excitement in the hall.
He instantly became the toast of other guests and beevy of beauties at event.
With bottles of Champagnes at his beck and call- insiders revealed that the very visible member of the respected Ibru clan partied endlessly.
He was said have caroused till some minutes to 2.00 a.m before taking his leave
Sources claimed that he told friends he needed to attend one other event before going home.
Observers where surprised at the wanton manner he threw himself into 'the enjoyment' taking into consideration the kind of 'national feeling pervading his Uncle's death'
Oskar Ibru is the son of the late Alex Ibru's elder brother, Michael Ibru.
Oskar presently assumes his father's duties in the popular family- as a result of the latter's health.
